Tanglewood Rebel 4K Deluxe Fretless Bass in Fairwater, Cardiff for sale

A Tanglewood Rebel 4K Deluxe Fretless Bass in 'Transparent Yellow', with gold hardware. This is a lovely and very hard to come by bass guitar, with a basswood body and a beautiful rosewood fretboard, I've had it a while after I bought it for a band I was going to join as a bassist, but it didn't take off and it's not been used much since besides the odd bit of home recording. The side dot markers make it really easy to play, despite the absence of frets, and would make a great choice for anybody looking to buy their first fretless. This thing sounds gorgeous on the recordings I've used it on, and you can get some really nice tonal textures out of the combination of both the P & J style pickups, each of which has their own volume control, and a tone control that affects both pickups. It's in great condition, apart from slight general wear that occurs through age, and a chip on the nut beside the E string, which still plays as normal apart from a bit of buzz at the first fret position. I'm only selling it as I need the money for driving lessons and it's one of the least played instruments in my collection, and it's time to let it move on to somebody who will give it the use that all great musical instruments need.
